The host hotels for CheerExpo Nationals 2009 are the Delta Halifax and Delta Barrington. There is a special event room rate of $109.00 plus all applicable taxes per night for Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th, 2009 ($109 plus 2% levy and 13% tax ($125.63 inclusive). They may also be able to accommodate you if you wish to stay longer (i.e. Thursday or Sunday night). They are also offering one (1) complimentary guestroom for every 16 guestrooms actualized per night. This is great for allstar gyms! Rooms are booked on a first come-first served basis. Check for availability. The room rate applies to Single/Double/Triple/Quadruple Occupancy. All rates are in Canadian funds. There is also a discounted parking rate (self park only) of $9.95 per day per vehicle (regular rate is $19.95 per day). Request for the parking space special rate must be made at the time of booking.

All rooms must be reserved by February 27, 2009. At that time the group block will be reviewed and any unsold rooms will be released for general sale. The negotiated group room rate may be available after the cut off date. If you do require guestrooms after the cut off date, please call the reservations office directly for the best available guestroom rate.

Waiting until February 27th is NOT a good idea!

It is standard hotel policy to request a credit card for payment of incidental charges. If you do not have a credit card, a cash advance deposit will be required at check-in. A major credit card will also be required for any late arrival requests. Check in time is 3:00pm. Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time. However, rooms may not be immediately available. Check out time is 12:00 noon. Requests to retain rooms beyond that hour should be directed to the Assistant Manager once the participant is registered. Should it be possible to extend a late check out, a late departure charge may be applicable. Cancellation policies differ between hotels; check your hotel for their policies.

Both hotels are approximately 35 minutes from the Halifax International Airport (they are across the street from one another) and 6 minutes from the Halifax Forum. The hotel is connected to a small shopping centre that has a food court. The hotel also has a restaurant called the “Crown”. They have a continental breakfast buffet for $11.95 or a hot breakfast buffet for 14.95.  It is right down town and is walking distance from pretty much everything (except the Halifax Forum where the event is held).
